China say 3 Shaanxi reservoirs in danger

BEIJING (AP) — A Chinese news agency says three reservoirs in Shaanxi province in central China are in danger of collapsing.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Monday that the three were in danger of collapsing after a strong aftershock Sunday to an earthquake that rocked Sichuan province two weeks ago. Shaanxi is just north of Sichuan.
Xinhua quoted the Ministry of Water Resources as saying the May 12 earthquake had put 2,383 reservoirs in danger across the country.
